Cabo brings the party! All day and most of the night. From thumbing clubs, great bars of live music, tourist bars, the World famous Cabo Wabo, local dives and watering holes. We don’t discriminate here at Baja Toms. We love them all. Here is a list of our favorites… Put theses babies on your must do list!

Okay so out first recomendation here isnt a bar at all! However it is our best one. Go see our friends at Paradise Tequila! My brother from another mother Fernando Jara and staff will take care of you and any excursions or activities you need. They treat you right and can be a great source of information while you are staying at our place. Fernado will help you get a fair price on any excursion or activity you want to do while staying in Cabo at Baja Toms. Not to mention the amazing tequila you can sample and purchase. I challenge any of our bourbon and whiskey drinking friends to go taste test some amazing anejo and extra anejo at Paradise Tequila … It just may change your life! If you want something with more of a flavor profile, try Chula Parranda, Adictivo, or Cava Oro. Fernando has a private barrel select that’s pretty damn good! If you want something smoother and more traditional, El Albur is my go-to but find your own! Paradise Tequila is located on Calle Miguel Hidalgo near the Marina, Wilkes Plaza and the Cabo Wabo. Steps from our downtown Oceans Point property.

Monkeys cave bar-Marina. So when we talk about the small mom and pop places in Cabo that make it great this is exactly what we are talking about. Get yourself Monkey’s and enjoy one the best margaritas on the planet! Rudy Manriquez, his son and staff do a great job serving up some very tasty drinks. Ramp up your drink making skills and let them show you how to make a lime look like a sun. Try my personal favorite the Damiana marg. An unprecedented no-frills place that’s nothing but fun. They are located at Plaza Marlin, Paseo de la Marina. Near the old Giggling Marlin. They often have live rock bands. Good times, great drinks and rock and roll! Stop by and tell them Baja Toms sent you.

Caba Wabo Cantina. No trip to Cabo is complete without at least a pit stop at the very least at the Cabo Wabo. Founded by Sammy Hagar & the Van Halen band in the mid 1990’s this place is iconic. Think Magaritaville with the needle cranked to 11! The biggest draw here honestly is nightly live music. The house band is great and you never know if a “special guest” will be arriving. We have seen many well-known musicians just show up and play. The mood and vibe are great and the party is always rockin’. Now the Cabo Wabo can be pricey to say the least. Sometimes the service is great and sometimes there seems to be a disconnect, so make sure you order clearly and check your bill. I have never had an issue but always stay on your game when traveling. We love the place and have met many great people that we bump into regularly at the Cabo Wabo. Did I say the house band is great? To each their own but what we like to do is pre-game / eat, and post-game, and hit the Cabo Wabo in the middle after the band goes on. There are many local watering holes nearby. (Like Caboy’s). The Cabo Wabo Cantina is located on Vicente Guerrero close to the marina and there is a parking lot next door. Just steps from our Oceans Point property! Drink up! No worries, you can do the Cabo Wabo on the way home!

Pro tip from Baja Toms: Go after 9:00 when the house band is playing. Tuesday-Saturday. Keep your ear to wall you may even see Sammy. We don’t normally recommend Americn food in Cabo but the hot dogs and fries are actually pretty good.

Our favorite dive bar by far is Caboys. Located close to both Wilkes Plaza and the Cabo Wabo and with parking on the opposite side of the street it’s easy to get to. Here Carlos, Santos and Orlando will welcome you with open arms and fair priced drinks. Cash bar. Great place to start and or end the night when you are tired of the $7-12 beers. They have shuffleboard tables and karaoke. If you go late you might see Santo’s fire show. Stand back or you might lose your eyebrows.

Pro tip from Baja Toms: Late weekend nights see the most action at Caboys. Tell them “Baja Tom” sent you!

The Cabo Cantina The best place in Cabo to watch the big game. If you want to see it they will get it! Call or stop in a few days before your big game and reserve a table.
